Catherine Kawano, 57 of Tucumcari, NM died Monday, February 14, 2011 at her home in Tucumcari following an illness. Cremation will take place. A memorial Mass will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 19, 2011 at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari with Father Hyginus Anuta officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 923 S. Third Street, Santa Rosa, NM. (575) 472-3369.
