Mary Phillips

Mary C. Phillips passed away on June 4, 2013 at the home of her daughter Martha in Logan, NM following an illness. She had been a resident of Logan for several years. Mary worked as a child care giver for the Logan Baptist Church for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents Antonio and Amelia Chavez, 2 brothers Leo and James, her daughter Jackie and son Chrispin Gully. Survivors include her daughter Martha Padilla and sons Antonio and Kevin from Logan, Leona Grant and son James from Logan and her son Larry Walton from California. Also surviving are her sisters, Corrine Pulido and Andy from California, Angie Chavez and Chris from Logan Mary Romero and Johnny from Clovis, 12 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, June 8, at 10:00 AM from St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa.
