Graveside services for former Fort Sumner residents Henry Paul and Jetty Jo Paul will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Fort Sumner Cemetery, Kathy Potter will officiate. Jetty Jo Paul age 75 of Hutto, Texas was born November 16, 1936 in Fort Sumner, NM to the home of Lee Roy and Irene Elizabeth (Snead) Potter. She passed away August 1, 2012 in Round Rock, Texas. Jetty Jo attended Fort Sumner High School, University of New Mexico, and NM Highlands University, University of Northern Colorado where she received her Masters Degree. Henry Lowell Paul age 90 of Hutto, Texas passed away June 29, 2013 in Round Rock, Texas. He was born in Paducah, Kentucky on May 20, 1923 to the home of Samuel Alexander Paul and the former Lena Rickman. Henry attended Paducah Tillman High School, University of Kentucky, Murray State Kentucky, and New Mexico Highlands University. Henry was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Jetty Jo Potter married Henry Lowell Paul on May 15, 1965 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were both educators and taught for over 30 years in New Mexico, Texas and California. Henry also coached football, baseball, basketball, and track. Jetty Jo also worked as a guidance counselor. Both were members of the Church of Christ. Jetty Jo loved to quilt and was a member of the Fort Sumner Quilting Club. Henry loved to garden. Their favorite past time was the quality time they spent with their two grandchildren and attending their sporting events. Jetty Jo is preceded in death by her parents, and a brother Jack Lee Potter. Henry is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Katie Norsworthy. They are survived by their son Joseph Lee Paul and his wife Barbara, two grandsons Tyler Joseph Paul and Justin Bryant Paul all from Hutto, TX. Jetty is also survived by a brother James Potter and his wife Kathleen of Bloomfield, New Mexico. Local arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 830 N.
