Rosary services for Tommy Martinez, Jr will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 10:00 AM from St. Rose of Lima Church with Memorial Mass to follow with Father Thomas Kayammakal officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Eric Aragon, Sr., Eric Aragon, Jr., Nelson Kotiar, Pat Martinez, Jamie Lucero, Paul Gonzales, Renee Castillo, Ricardo Muniz, Jimmy Quintana, Joe Lee Baca, Ernie Ortega, Santana Campos, Damian Chavez, Gerald Ortega, Robert Lee Chavez, Joey Silva, Tim Ulibarri and Lorenzo Lucero. Tommy passed away on Saturday, September 27, at the Guadalupe County Hospital with his family by his side. Tommy was born January 19, 1963 in Santa Rosa to the home of Tommy and Josie (Pacheco) Martinez. He was reared and attended schools in Santa Rosa. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and attending motorcycle rallies. He was an avid hunter, he loved going to the ranch with his dad and watching the Santa Rosa Lions play. For the last several years Tommy donated his time and his talent to the Santa Rosa de Lima Parish where he assisted in setting up the school grounds for the Parish’s Annual Fiesta. Tommy is preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents Jose and Celia Martinez, his Maternal Grandparents Leandro and Ignacia Pacheco. Survivors include his children, Tara Martinez of Albuquerque, Ricky Blea of Santa Rosa and Melissa Blea of Las Vegas, NV, his parents Tommy and Josie Martinez of Santa Rosa, his sisters, Lillian Martinez of Santa Rosa, Camilla Muniz and husband Ricky of Santa Rosa and Allyson Martnez of Lubbock, TX and his Dog, “Taco” along with numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and a host of friends and relatives.
