Predicanda A Flores

Predicanda A Flores, age 73, passed away at the Manzano De Sol Care Center in Albuquerque following an illness. Predicanda was born on May 28, 1941 in Puerto de Luna to the home of Honorato and Antonia (Chavez) Flores. She was reared and attended schools in Puerto De Luna and Santa Rosa. Predicanda lived all her life at the family farm in Puerto De Luna where she was a major part of the daily duties. She also enjoyed doing crafts, going to the Senior Citizens Center and playing bingo. Predicanda was a faithful member of Nuestra Senora de Refugio Church in Puerto De Luna where she served as Mayordomo. Predicanda was also a loving Nanny to most of her nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Rita F. Sanchez, her brother Cipriano Flores, brother in law Lee Garcia and sister in law Dolores Flores. Survivors include her sisters, Juanita Flores of the family home in Puerto De Luna and Martina Garcia of Vaughn, her brother Manuel Flores and wife Mary of Santa Rosa, brother in law, Lorenzo Sanchez of Santa Rosa along with a host of nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be held on Friday, December 26, at 6:00 PM from Nuestra Senora de Refugio Church in Puerto De Luna. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 27, at 10:00 AM also from Nuestra Senora de Refugio Church with Father Sotero A. Sena officiating. Burial will follow at El Calvario Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be her nieces and nephews, Kameron Gauna, Kayla Gauna, Santiago Chavez, Joseph Flores, Jude Flores, Manuel M. Flores, Andrew P. Flores, Jolene Trappett, Jorome Gomez and Michael Gauna. All services for Predicanda have been entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
