Lucy Aragon

Lucy Aragon, 76 of Roswell, NM passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 at University Medical Center in Lubbock following a short illness. She was born March 4, 1938 in Guadalupe, NM to the home of Les and Stella (Casaus) Marsh. She attended school in Yeso and Fort Sumner.Lucy married Frank Pat Aragon on December 7, 1957 in Fort Sumner. They made their home in Roswell, in 1968. Lucy worked for Gibson and Alco as a sales clerk manager. For the past three years she has volunteered at Eastern New Mexico Medical Center.She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Roswell, she enjoyed reading and caring for her cats.Lucy is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank Pat Aragon in 2012, and a son Tommy C. Aragon in 1979.Lucy is survived by two sons Mark Aragon and Lucy Jaramillo, and Pat Lane Aragon all of Roswell. One sister Lee Harrell of Roswell, four grandchildren Christian Aragon of Roswell, Champagne of Roswell, Maria Baca of Albuquerque, and Thomas Aragon of Roswell, nine great-grandchildren and two nephews Timmy Harrell and Larry Harrell of Houston along with many other relatives and friends.The funeral Mass will be held at 10am Friday, March 6, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Fort Sumner with Father Paul Nkumbi officiating. Cremation will follow the services and burial of the cremains will take place at St. Anthony Cemetery.All arrangements are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 830 N.
