Joaquin Gutierrez

Joaquin Fermin Gutierrez, age 7, passed away on April 6, 2015 the result of an automobile accident. Joaquin was born on May 18, 2007 in Albuquerque to the home of Fermin and Crystal Gutierrez. He was a first grader in Mrs. Zamora’s class at Santa Rosa Elementary School. Joaquin loved spending time in Anton Chico, he also loved to ride his bike, swimming, playing with his cousins Jonathan and Joaquin and he loved to go fishing with his dad. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Yolanda Lopez and his step brother Luciano Aragon. Survivors include his father and step mother Fermin and Naomi, his mother Crystal Gutierrez, his sisters Mariah Gutierrez, Leticia Gutierrez and Selena Gutierrez, step sister, Andria Nieto and his step brother Alcrario Nieto. Also surviving are his grandparents, Fermin and Mary Ann Gutierrez, Juan and Estefanita Gonzales and Joe and Lydia Sandoval along with numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, classmates, and a host of relatives and friends. Public visitation hours will be Thursday from 1pm to 6pm at the funeral home. A rosary will be recited on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 10:00 AM from the Santa Rosa High School Gymnasium. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following the rosary with Father Sotero A. Sena officiating assisted by Deacon Marvin Marquez. Burial will follow at the San Jose Cemetery in Anton Chico. Serving as Pallbearers will be, David Matta, Brandon Trujillo, Gary Gutierrez, David Trujillo, Robert Lujan and Joe Tenorio, Jr. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Jonathan Gonzales and Joaquin Gonzales.
