A graveside service for Bea Anderson will be held at 12 noon Saturday, April 18, 2015 at the Fort Sumner Cemetery, Fort Sumner, New Mexico. Violet Beatrice Anderson, age 93 passed away Thursday, April 9, 2015 at All Care in Clovis, New Mexico. She was born January 13, 1922 in Quinton, Oklahoma to the home of Nathan and Belle (Wiles) Southard. She attended schools in Quinton and graduated from Quinton High School. Bea married Mose John "Andy" Anderson on December 16, 1946 in Santa Rosa, NM. They made their home in Belen, NM from 1964 until 1988. Bea worked as a bank teller in Belen for several years. They made their home in Fort Sumner in 1988. Bea enjoyed watching television, especially sports programs, reading, and visiting with all her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Mose John Anderson, a son Michael J. Anderson, three brothers Charlie Southard, Allen Bill Southard, and Clyde Forster. Survivors inlcude two sons Tom Anderson of Colorado Springs, CO and John Anderson and his wife Mary of Belen, New Mexico, three sisters Betty Ruth Bunyard of Oklahoma City, OK, Velda Satterfield of Quinton, OK, and Frankie Piccolo of Oklahoma City, OK, eight grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, a brother-in-law Doug Anderson and his wife Shelby of Gaston, IN, three sisters-in-law Wanda Mechnig and husband Bill of Roswell, Fran Nahlovsky and Blanche Boyd of Fort Sumner.
