Carolyn Dodd

Carolyn Dodd, 78 of House, NM passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, TX following a short illness. She was born April 12, 1937 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She married Joseph E. Dodd on November 3, 1954. Carolyn worked as a certified nursing assistant for many years at Meadow Park Care Center in St. Helen's Oregon and Dale's Care Center in Portland, Oregon. She was baptized in the Mormon Church in 1973. Carolyn made her home in House, NM in 2002. She enjoyed collecting NFL memorabilia, and salt and pepper shakers. Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother Leota Miller, her dad Ray Belling, and her husband Joe Dodd. A loving mother and grandmother, Carolyn is survived by five sons, Rodney Dodd and wife Dianne of Portland, OR, Danny Dodd and wife Destiny, Rick Dodd and his wife Verna, Douglas Ray Dodd, and Larry Knutson and his wife Jessica all of House, NM. Also surviving are two brothers Floyd Gabriel of Port Angeles, WA and Ernest Gabriel of Kennewick, WA. Cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at a later date in House, New Mexico.
