Josephine Sisneros

Josephine Sisneros, 100, a lifetime resident of New Mexico was born April 10, 1916. She went home to be with the Lord on May 28, 2016 at Taos, NM.. She is preceded in death by her husband Julian Sisneros, son Pete Sisneros, grandson Pete Sisneros Jr. Siblings: Clemente Salinas, Vidal McLane, Zorida Angel, Rafael Salinas, Ramon Salinas, Reynaldo Salinas, Mela Lueras, Ruth Apodaca and Juan Salinas She is survived by her children: Larry Sisneros and wife Maria, Frank Sisneros, Phillip Sisneros and wife Patricia, Raymond Sisneros and wife Helen, Julian Sisneros and wife Beth, daughter in law Frances Sisneros and her daughter Dora Volpato and husband Robert. Her 14 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild, her sisters Todocia Lucero and Petra Montano and brother-in-law Tranquelino Apodaca. Josephine lived a life full of love and compassion. She enjoyed cooking, playing Bingo, going to the Casinos, traveling to see family members, and crocheting. We will cherish the many wonderful memories until we meet again with our Lord in Heaven. Rosary will be recited in the St. Anne’s Catholic Church on Monday June 6, 2016 at 10:00 AM, the Mass of Resurrection will follow the rosary at 11:00 AM from St. Anne’s Catholic Church In Tucumcari. Cremation will take place after the Mass and Interment of cremains will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at St. Anne's Church. Serving as Pallbearers will be Mark Sisneros Jr., Julian Sisneros Jr., Phillip Sisneros Jr., Rico Volpato, Joseph Volpato, Eli Dominguez Sr., and James Pacheco All services for Mrs. Sisneros have been entrusted to the Chavez Funeral Home of Santa Rosa.
