Naomi Romero

Naomi Romero, 27 of Santa Rosa, NM passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Guadalupe County Hospital. She is the daughter of Jessie P. Romero and Leslie Sandoval Sanchez. Naomi Renae Romero was born October 27, 1988 in Las Vegas, NM. She grew up in Las Vegas and Santa Rosa and is a 2007 graduate of Santa Rosa High School. She was employed as the head cook and responsible for the kitchen at Los Vecinos Sanos Assisted Living in Santa Rosa. Naomi enjoyed writing poetry, watching forensic investigation TV shows, crocheting afghans, listening to music, spending time with her son Andres and hanging out with her friends and family. Naomi is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Art Sandoval, great grand parents Anselmo and Josie Sanchez, Carlos and Dolores Sandoval, Ernesto and Ismela Romero, and Andalecio and Vicentita Cordova. A loving mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister and friend, Naomi is survived by a son Andres Jesus Romero, her father Jessie Romero and wife Mary, her mother Leslie Sanchez and husband Paul all of Santa Rosa. two brothers, Chris (C.J.) Farinias Jr. of Sacramento, CA, Rich Sanchez, and a sister Jaelyn Sanchez of Santa Rosa. Paternal grandparents Adolfo and Dorothy Romero, maternal grandmothers Mayme Sandoval, and Bernie Sanchez all of Santa Rosa, also surviving are nephews Chris Farinias III, Adrian Farinias, along with a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and many friends. Visitation hours will be Sunday from 1pm to 6pm at the funeral home. A rosary will be recited at 7pm Sunday, July 31, 2016 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa. Mass will be celebrated at 10am Monday, August 1, 2016 from St. Rose of Lima with Father Sotero A. Sena officiating, burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Chris (CJ) Farinias, Jr., Rich Sanchez, Adolph Romero, Jr., Joseph Romero, Ernie Romero and Frankie Tenorio.
