Patricia (Patsy) Montoya born March 28, 1940 to Luis & Predicanda Montoya passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 17 at Guadalupe County Hospital. Patricia is survived by 5 daughters; Susan Chavez and friend Domonic Romero; Jayne Stewart; Jessica Chavez and husband Robert; Claudina Garcia and husband Jerome; and Nancy Stone and husband Jim and two sons, Joe Teddy Baca and wife Ida; Carlos Baca and a granddaughter that she raised Ernestina Baca. Also surviving are her two sisters, Luisa Chappell and husband Jerry and Christina Esquibel and one brother, Frutoso Montoya and wife Marcella and her Uncle Fernando Chacon. Many grandchildren and great grand-children. She is preceded in death by two brothers; Eugenio Chacon & Pablo Montoya, and her parents, Luis and Predicanda. Patsy was better known for the love of her grandchildren, always making time to take them to and attend their different functions, whether it be their sports practices or attending games, school programs, etc. Always generous with her time, she spent many hours helping others, was always a caregiver to many. She loved listening to Spanish Music and Dancing, teaching many of her nephews and nieces to dance every step one could think of. Patsy will be missed by many who were fortunate to have been her friend. Finally, Rest in Peace Patricia! Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Santa Rosa at 2:00 on Saturday, October 21, 2017.
