It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adam Garcia, who left us on September 29, 2025, in Lyman, Wyoming. Born December 23, 1969, in Los Angeles, California to Patrick Garcia and Frances (Barreras) Garcia, Adam was raised in Tucumcari, New Mexico, where he graduated from Tucumcari High School. He went on to study renewable energy by enrolling in the Wind Energy Program at Mesalands Community College.
Adam dedicated his career to public service, working for the Quay County Road Department before taking on the role of Heavy Equipment Operator at Union Pacific Railroad. He was a valued member of his community, actively participating as a parishioner at St. Anne’s Catholic Church and being a proud member of Elk’s Lodge 1172 in Tucumcari.
In his leisure time, Adam found joy in traveling for work, eager to explore new places and experience life to its fullest. He had a natural talent for mechanics and loved working with his hands, always eager to learn something new. Cooking was another passion of his, but nothing brought him more happiness than the precious moments he shared with his beloved family.
Adam is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Laudente and Lorencita Garcia; his maternal grandparents, Juan and Teodora Barreras and by his brother, Patrick Garcia, Jr.
He is survived by his parents, Patrick and Frances Garcia, as well as his sisters; Monica and Dan Aragon and Lisa and Paul Sr. Sena.
His children are Krissy and David Arnold, Adam and Alicia Garcia, Jenna and Michael Rivera and Gilbert and Destiny Garcia.
His grandchildren are; Taylor, Justice, Elias, River, Moses, Azarius, Kaylani, Gabriel, Tanner, Trevor, Autumn, and Willow and numerous nephews and nieces, extended family, and friends.
