Alvin C. Knowles Jr.

Alvin C. Knowles Jr., 59 passed away at his Newkirk, NM home on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He was born July 4, 1963 in Tucumcari, NM to the home of Alvin C. Knowles Sr. and the former Corrine Marie Greaser. Alvin served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force, his specialty was Navigational Aids Equipment Specalist. He was honorably discharged in 1991. Alvin is preceded in death by his father, Alvin C. Knowles Sr. in 1997. Survivors include his mother Corrine Knowles of Tacoma, WA, two sisters Melissa Kish (Christopher) of Akron, Ohio, Pamm Ellis (Larry) of Tacoma Washington, four nephews Brandon Ellis (Sugar) of Waco, TX, Justin Ellis, Andrew Ellis, and Jesse Ellis all of Tacoma, WA. Interment with Military Honors took place on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 1:30pm, at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM. Services are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 923 S.
