Daniel Trujillo, 63 formerly of Vaughn, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2019, at his home in Chino Valley, Arizona following an illness. He was born October 29, 1955 in Vaughn to the home of Joe and Lucy (Arguello) Trujillo, he attended school in Vaughn. Daniel worked in various jobs. He served in the U.S. Army for 14 years, stationed in Korea. He was a member of Jehovah’s Witness. He is preceded in death by his parents; nephews Abraham Tafoya and Joshua Trujillo, and Fermin Gutierrez. Survivors include 11 siblings, his twin sister Margaret (Manuel) Astorga of Chino Valley, AZ, Maryann Gutierrez of Santa Rosa, Sofia Trujillo of Santa Rosa, Theresa Trujillo of Las Vegas, NM, Benjamin Trujillo of Vaughn, Frankie (Corrie) Trujillo of Garden City, KS, Susan Trujillo of Clovis, Tommy Trujillo of TX, Estella Trujillo of Tucumcari, Bobby Trujillo of Santa Fe, David (Diane) Trujillo of Clovis, along with several nieces and nephews. Viewing and Visitation hours will be Monday, September 9, 2019 from 2pm to 6pm at Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at Kingdom Hall in Santa Rosa, interment will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Evergreen Cemetery in Vaughn, NM. Pallbearers will be Pete Zamora, David Trujillo, Davin Trujillo, Brandon Trujillo, Robert Lujan, Johnathan Garcia and Manuel Astorga. Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews and nieces.
