Deanna was married to George Gonzales on August 30, 1958 at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa. Together, George and Deanna raised their family in Borica, NM and Santa Rosa. Following their marriage, Deanna and George settled in Salado, NM—5 miles west of Sumner Lake—the original Gonzales Homestead, before moving to the Borica ranch in 1962. In 2000, Deanna and George moved to the current ranch, located on south Highway 54, known as G & D Land and Cattle Co. Deanna enjoyed sewing, crocheting and embroidering.
