Debra Romero

Debra Romero, 57 of Santa Rosa, NM passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 13, 2021 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, NM. Debra was born on September 18, 1963 in Santa Rosa to Epimenio Romero and Clara Pacheco. Debra was raised in Santa Rosa and was employed by Guadalupe County Hospital as a phlebotomist. She was a parishioner at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church and she greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandsons, working in her garden and she enjoyed the outdoors. Debra is preceded in death by her brother; Jerry Romero and the father of her children; Mark Gomez. She is survived by her parents; Epimenio (Edwina) Romero and Clara Romero, her children; Dathion (Amarissa) Gomez and Clarissa Gomez (Patrick), her grandchildren; Andres Gomez and Ayden Velasquez, her companion of 27 years; Andrew Quintana and her siblings; Rita Romero, Michael Romero, Grace (Ernie) Chavez, Donna Salas, Phillip Romero, Cele Garcia, Leslie Garcia, David (Rosa-Elia) Romero, Daniel (Crystal) Romero and Marty Pacheco. Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 10am followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church, and will be officiated by Father Sotero Sena. Burial of cremains will follow at Saint Joseph Cemetery. Urn Bearers will include Debra’s nephews and nieces and Louella Gutierrez. All services are under the direction of Chavez Funeral Home, 923 S.
