Evaristo Daniel Gallegos

Evaristo Daniel Gallegos, 27 of Albuquerque, NM and formerly of Santa Rosa, NM, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 9, 2021. Daniel was born on December 2, 1994 in Las Vegas, NM to Mark Gallegos and Debra (Chavez) Gallegos. Daniel was raised in Santa Rosa where he also attended school and later graduated from Eunice High School. Daniel then went on the attend Albuquerque Barber College. Daniel greatly enjoyed fishing and spending time with family and friends. His big, happy smile and laughter touched so many lives. He was well-known for his selflessness and caring for others. Daniel is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Daniel and Siria Lucero and his paternal grandfather; Evaristo Gallegos. Daniel is survived by his parents; Mark and Debbie Gallegos, his siblings; David Gallegos, Jessie Gallegos and Sarita Campos as well as numerous nephews and nieces. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother; Magdalena Baca Gallegos, and his uncles and aunts; Kathy Baca, Michael (Colleen) Gallegos, Perla Serrano, Jo Ann Gallegos, Dennis (Margie) Gallegos, Frank (Catrina) Gallegos, Matthew (Crystal) Gallegos—all of Santa Rosa, NM, and Frank (Annette) Chavez, of Albuquerque, NM, Andy Chavez of Sidney, Ohio and Vince Lucero, Michelle Chavez Lucero of Santa Rosa, NM, as well as numerous family, relatives and friends. Visitation for Daniel will be Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 3-7pm at Chavez Funeral Home in Santa Rosa and again on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 10-11am at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa. The Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will take place on Monday, December 13, 2021 at 11am at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church immediately followed by the Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Father Sotero Sena. Daniel will be laid to rest at Saint Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa with Joseph Chavez, Marty Chavez, Cordero Bachicha, Charlie Chavez, Carlos Maldonado, Felipe Baca, Alcario Nieto, Vince Lucero, Luciano Montoya and Tyler Smith serving as Pallbearers.
