George Lee Cline, age 90, of Fort Sumner, New Mexico passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. George was born March 30, 1932 in Mills County, Texas to the home of William Andrew Cline and the former Susan Frances Lindsey. He attended Goldthwaite High School.
On June 7, 1952 he married Aubrey Jean Seale. George worked for El Paso Natural Gas Company, and retired as a Superintendent in 1986. George and Aubrey made their home in Jal, NM for 22 years. His work took him across Texas to Canadian, McClane, Amarillo, Mills County, Sweetwater, Nolin County, and Canyon. They made their home Fort Sumner in 2014. George was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Jal, NM.
George is preceded in death by his parents; and his wife Aubrey in 2022.
George is survived by his two sons Tommy Lee Cline of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, George Cline Jr. and his wife Melissa of Cedar Crest, NM and a daughter Belinda Joyce Fulton and husband Kevin of Bend, Oregon. Also surviving are 7 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
