Henry William Campos (Enrique Guillermo Campos) 75, passed away peacefully in Albuquerque, NM, Sunday, May 31, 2020, from natural causes. Henry was born on November 23, 1944, in Puerto De Luna, NM. He grew up in Puerto De Luna. He was preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo and Epimena (Luna) Campos, as well as his siblings Willie, Reynaldo, Lillian, Viola, and Emma. Henry is survived by his siblings Dora, Alfonso, Julia, Esmeralda, and Edwina; his 3 children Hank, Elizabeth, and Janice; and 3 grandchildren Victoria, John Michael, and Sierra. Henry often reminisced about his friendships and experiences in the llanos of Puerto De Luna. Henry learned the value of hard work at a young age. Throughout his life, Henry was valued for his incredible physical strength and work ethic. He taught his children how important it was to have pride in their work. He went to High School at Santa Rosa High School where he was an All-Star Football player. After graduating, he married Gloria Dodge and they moved to California. He spent a portion of his young adult life in California and later moved back to Albuquerque, New Mexico where he lived for the rest of his life. Henry was also helpful to people in need. He would often pull over on the side of the road and help anyone struggling with car problems or the homeless. He will be missed. A family prayer service led by Deacon Marvin Marquez was held at 11:00 am Thursday, June 04, 2020, at the Chavez Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at El Calvario Cemetery in Puerto De Luna.
