Jimmy Manuel Baca nicknamed “Baca” is the son of Frank and Clorie (Nelson) Baca. He now reunites with his parents along with siblings Joe Albert “JG,” Frances “Kika,” David “Sap,” Martin “Pache,” and “Lil” Sissy Carolyn Lee. Also preceding him in death are grandparents Frank and Leandra Baca as well as Albert and Isabel Nelson.
Jim’s three children are Sandy Candelaria (Jay), Joseph “JoJo” (Natalia), and Joshua. His grandchildren are Alyssa, Julianna, Jayson, Dani, and Myla. His siblings are Leo Moya (Maria), Alex (Kathleen), Leroy (Debra), Netta Montgomery (Steve), and Anna.
Jim proudly served in the US Army for three years before receiving an honorable discharge.
Once a Lion, always a Lion—Jim enjoyed attending the Santa Rosa Lions sporting events.
A carpenter by trade, he shared his talent and helped people repair, remodel, and construct their homes and businesses. He also mentored many young up-and-coming carpenters.
Services for Jimmy Baca will be on Friday, September 6, 2024 at 11:00am at Church of Christ in Santa Rosa with Pastor Keith Ross officiating. Burial of cremains with Military Honors will follow in the Baca Family Plot at St. Joseph Cemetery in Santa Rosa.
