Jonn Jason Beasley, 52, a former Tucumcari resident passed away April 26, 2024 in Lakewood, Colorado. He was born on April 19, 1972 in Carlsbad, NM to Robert Bronson Beasley and Susan Starr Ditto. He grew up in Tucumcari, NM and graduated with the Tucumcari High School class of 1990. He attended ENMU for a year, and after moving to Colorado he attended trade school for electric and HVAC engineering. He worked as a HVAC and maintenance engineer in Colorado for the past 20 years.
While living in Tucumcari he attended the Center Street Methodist Church and sang in the choir. He was involved in a home-group church while in Winter Park, Colorado.
Jonn was very musically talented and loved to play the guitar and sing. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed nature. He fished, skied, and snowboarded.
Jonn is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents John and Betty Ditto, and a maternal great aunt Agnes Lins. Jonn is survived by his mother Susan Hamilton Dick of Portales, NM, father Robert (Barbara) Beasley of Canyon, TX, 5 brothers: Mark Hardage of Conchas Dam, NM, Robert (Stacey) Ferguson of West Fork, Arkansas, Ryan (Jennifer) Hamilton of Stratford, TX, Mike (Agnes) Beasley of Austin, TX, Gregg Beasley of Denver, CO, 3 sisters: Ashley (Donnie) Guinn and Kimberly Starr Bonner both of Amarillo, TX, and Sonya (Vic) Crochi of Kansas. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Center Street United Methodist Church in Tucumcari. Interment of cremated remains will follow at Tucumcari Memorial Park.
