Juanita C. Coleman, 101, formerly of Vaughn, NM, died Wednesday, August 5, 2020. She was born in Boone County, MO February 18, 1919 a daughter of the late Everet and Ona (Rippeto) Sapp. She was married to the late Robert (Bob) H. Coleman for over 50 years, he died in 1998. Juanita & Bob were the owners and operators of the Ranch House Café and Sands Café in Vaughn, NM for over 50 years. Mrs. Coleman was a member of the Eastern Star and was past Grand Matron of New Mexico. She enjoyed cooking and preparing for banquets and occasions. There was a lot of love in Juanita’s life. We know her legacy lives on in all of us. She was an incredible inspiration to everyone who knew her. Please celebrate her as we are, not with sadness but recalling those wonderful memories of her life well lived. She is now celebrating with Jesus, Bob and her beloved family and many beloved dear friends. Juanita is survived by three daughters, Nita Jo Heck and husband James of Fombell, PA, Nickie Lynn Eckley and husband Rick of Columbus, OH, and Terrie Renee Coleman of Bent, NM, three grandchildren, Chrystelyn Fautheree Harrison (Brian), Jeremy Smith (Irma), and Jodi Smith Islas (Joseph), and six great grandchildren. Along with her husband Bob, Juanita was also preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters.
