Malachi Gallegos

Guadalupe Malachi Gallegos IV, age 3 of Roswell, NM passed away Monday, July 15, 2019 in a tragic house fire. Malachi was born February 19, 2016, the son of Guadalupe Matthew Gallegos III, and Latosha Renee (Gorrell) Gallegos. Malachi loved feathers, broccoli, playing any kind of ball game, and the color purple. He was a New Orleans Saints fan. Malachi is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Flora Gallegos, Tillie Baca, Dexter Gorrell, and Rick Shoemaker. Survivors include his mom and dad, Latosha and Matthew Gallegos, three sisters Makaleigh Shyanne Gallegos, Sarynthia Heather Gallegos, Catherina Anna Maria Gallegos, five brothers Rylan Lukis Gallegos, Davarion Elucid Gallegos, Jonathan Kalele Gorrell, Trevor Clay Freeman Jr., and Ashton Ray Davis. Also surviving are his grandparents J.R. Gallegos, Ernestine Gallegos, Jim and Rhonda Gorrell, Donna Shoemaker, Ronnie DeMasters, Carolyn Gorrell, aunts and uncles Elizabeth Stone, Yvette Otero, Monica Coffey, Joel Garcia, Mark Thompson, Gail Workman, Jonathan Saiz, Lane Gorrell, and Ethan Gorrell. Cremation has taken place.  Malachi’s father Matthew Gallegos was also severely injured in the house fire and is recovering from his injuries.
