Manuel William Villarreal

Manuel William Villarreal passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 4, 2021. Manuel was born on March 26, 2002 to Manuel Villarreal and Elizabeth Strawbridge-Jones in Abilene, TX. Manuel attended school in Trent, TX and Abilene, TX, graduating from Gulf Coast High School in 2019. While living in Texas, Manuel was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Merkel, TX. Manuel recently moved to Tucumcari, NM. He enjoyed baseball, football and fishing with his Papa. He also enjoyed drawing and hanging out with his friends and family—especially his brothers. Manuel is preceded in death by his grandfathers; Geraldo Villarreal, Sr. and Alan Roberts, great-grandparents; William and Linda Strawbridge, uncles; Robert Villarreal, Tommy Jones, Benny Ray Jones, Sonny Jones, Terry Strawbridge and Billy Strawbridge and cousins; Alyssa Villarreal and Geraldine Villarreal. Manuel is survived by his parents; Manuel Villarreal and Elizabeth Strawbridge-Jones, brothers; Brandon, Joseph and Ethan, grandmothers; Zenaida Villarreal and Barbara Strawbridge, grandfather; Billy Jones, uncle and aunt; Greg and Sally Priddy, cousins Sheridan and Everett Priddy, uncle and aunt; BB Villarreal, Jr. and Pauline, cousins; Gerline and Geraldo, III Villarreal, uncle and aunt; Victor, Sr. and Mary Villarreal, cousins; Victor, Jr. and Eric Villarreal, uncle Monrole Roberts and kids, Rosario and Red Garza and kids, aunt Tammy and Chester Davis, aunt Stephanie and Bruce Jones and kids, aunt Kira Jones and kids, uncle Anthony and Racquel Villarreal, cousins; Brandon and Emily, uncle Shane Jones and kids, uncle Rudy Villarreal and kids, uncle Luke and Sarah Jones and kids and aunt Billie Jean Jones and kids as well as many more uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Services for Manuel will be; Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at Father’s Forge in Tucumcari, NM at 2pm officiated by Pastor Eddy Mardis, then on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at The Way Fellowship in De Leon, Texas at 10am officiated by Pastor Sheridan Priddy. Burial of cremains will follow at De Leon Cemetery with Everett Priddy, Gabriel Martinez, Anthony Leyva, Gerardo III Villarreal, Tyrus Jones, Curtis Gonzales, Brandon Villarreal, Joseph Villarreal and Ethan Villarreal serving as Urn Bearers.
