Margaret Ann Masterson, 81 a longtime resident of Santa Rosa passed away Friday, August 23, 2019, at UNMH Sandoval following an illness. She was born April 22, 1938. She grew up and attended school in Plainview, TX. She married Theodore Masterson Sr., on August 2, 1959 in Clovis, New Mexico. They made their home in Santa Rosa in 1973. She worked at several Santa Rosa businesses over the years including, Stucky's, Motel 6, and the Rio Pecos Truckstop. Margaret loved to sew, she made her sons shirts while they were in school, she also enjoyed bird watching and had several books to identify each bird. She spent many hours watching western movies, especially John Wayne movies. Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Theodore Masterson Sr. in 1995, her middle son, David Charles Masterson in 2009, along with 14 brothers and sisters. Survivors include two sons Ted Masterson and Bill Masterson both of Santa Rosa, a brother Richard Pemberton (Anne) of Perryville, Indiana and a sister Frankie Harper of Paris, Texas along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
