Marie Demecia Hall

Marie Demecia Sisneros de Hall, 88, went home to be with the Lord on September 21, 2026. She was born to the late Ramon Sisneros, Sr. and Vicenta (Romero) Sisneros on March 31, 1938 in Colonias, New Mexico and was the sixth of seven children. She was raised in Colonias and attended school and graduated from Santa Rosa High School in Santa Rosa, New Mexico. She met her husband, Charles Hall, Sr., in El Paso, Texas and they were later married on November 24, 1966 in Tucumcari, New Mexico.

She was a devoted wife and mother, dedicating her time to raising and loving her children and keeping their household running. She loved to spoil each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren rotten, dancing, shopping, tending to her flower garden and most of all, cleaning her home. She was deeply rooted in her faith and was a member of the Shrine of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her unwavering strength against any and every hardship or struggle she faced. She passes that strength to her loved ones after teaching and preparing them to continue being strong even after losing her light.

Demecia joins her parents, brother Ramon Sisneros, Jr., sisters, Vitalia Lucero, Clara Chavez, Asencion "Chona" Mares, and Rita Rivera in Heaven.

She is survived by her husband, her three children, Vita Lynn McElroy, Charlene Hernandez, and Charles Hall, Jr, four grandchildren Jacqueline Padilla (DJ), David Miller (Audrey), Hannah Brown (Joshua) and Melany McElroy, three great grandchildren, Kylo Padilla, Ramsey Padilla and Baby Miller, her brother Christian Sisneros, her sister Paula Salcido along with many nieces and nephews.
