Miguel Mark Campos

Miguel Mark Campos, 36 of Santa Rosa, NM, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 14, 2020. Miguel was born on August 16, 1983 in Santa Rosa to Steve Campos and Lucille Salas. Miguel was raised in Santa Rosa where he attended school and graduated from Santa Rosa High School in 2002. Miguel was currently a Sergeant at GEO, where he had worked for the past 17 years. He was a parishioner at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church and he enjoyed fishing and anything to do with the outdoors. However, Miguel most enjoyed the time he spent with his family and friends. Miguel is preceded in death by his parents, paternal grandparents; Willie and Filomena Campos and maternal grandparents; Miguel and Juanita Salas. Miguel is survived by a son; Lathan Campos of Las Vegas, NM, girlfriend; Michelle Quesada of Santa Rosa, NM, step-children; Dominica Chavez, Kirstin Chavez and Zaylin Rodgers—all of Santa Rosa, NM, a brother; Phillip Campos of Santa Rosa, NM, a sister; Yolanda Salas of Santa Rosa, NM, nieces; Davina Campos, Goddaughter; Brooklyn Methola, and Ozzlynne Methola—all of Santa Rosa, NM, Aunts; Gloria Salas of Ft. Sumner, NM, Perla Bailey of Santa Rosa, NM, Martha Salas of Santa Rosa, NM, Barbara Duke (John) of Ft. Sumner, NM, Priscilla Aragon (Nick) of Los Lunas, NM and Samantha Cardenas (Hector) of Rio Rancho, NM and Uncle; Anthony Salas of Santa Rosa, NM, as well as numerous cousins, family and friends. The family regrets that the services will not be open to the public due to the statewide restrictions pertaining to the COVID-19 Virus. In cooperation with the Governor’s order, services are limited to the immediate family only. However, the family does kindly ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Holy Rosary and Funeral were held at 10:00 am Friday, June 19, 2020 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Santa Rosa, NM. Father Stephen Bernabe officiated. Burial followed at St. Joseph Cemetery.
