Raul Alejandro Rodriguez

Raul Alejandro Rodriguez, 40 of Tucumcari, NM passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 27, 2026 at his home. Raul was born September 27, 1986 in Greeley, Colorado to the home of Raul and Carmen (Celis) Rodriguez. His family moved to Tucumcari where Raul attended Middle and High School. He graduated from San Jon High School in 2004. While in school, Raul worked with his parents at their family restaurant in Tucumcari.

Raul attended Toni and Guy Barber School in Albuquerque and worked as a barber for the past 7 years alongside his brother at Dreadful Cuts in Portales and as a barber in Tucumcari. Raul also owned a food truck, "Mis Lonches" for 4 years.

Raul met the love of his life, Esperanza Munoz in Tucumcari in 2012. Together they raised a family. According to his wife and children, Raul was a loving husband and father who enjoyed the time they spent together. Raul was also a great cook. He volunteered his time coaching Little League Softball, Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer for several years. He also enjoyed playing in the Portales Softball leagues. His favorite sports team was the Minnesota Vikings. 

Raul is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Esperanza Munoz of the family home in Tucumcari, three children Jude Rodriguez, Arrianna Rodriguez, and Eva Rodriguez of the family home, one sister Gema Rodriguez of Tucumcari and three brothers Tony Rodriguez of Portales, Abel Rodriguez (Destinie Sena) of Tucumcari, Kevin Rodriguez (Mariah Morrison) of Logan along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
