Russell Gene Grant

Russell Grant, 67 of Santa Rosa, NM, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2022. Russell was born on July 23, 1954 in Santa Rosa, NM to Marjorie (Fox) Grant. Russell was raised in Santa Rosa, where he attended school and graduated from Santa Rosa High School. Russell was a self-employed carpenter and at times, worked for various local contractors. Russell was raised in the Methodist faith and enjoyed gardening and painting. Russell also liked to play the guitar and sing, and enjoyed horse racing. Russell is preceded in death by his parents, his twin brother: Richard Dean Grant, sister: Linda Luna, brothers-in-law: David Luna and Jessie Garcia, sister-in-law: Karen Grant and nieces: Jeanette Rose Grant and Crystal Michelle Grant. Russell is survived by his son: Daniel R. Grant of Santa Rosa, sisters: Anna Mae Garcia of Albuquerque, NM and Glenda J. Velasquez (Rudy) of Albuquerque, NM, brothers: Raymond W. Grant (Pam) of Oregon and Robert A. Grant of El Cajon, CA, mother of his son: Jackie Urban of Santa Rosa and his caregiver and niece: Annette R. Grant of Santa Rosa as well as numerous nephews, nieces, other family and friends. Services are pending at this time and will be announced when finalized.
