Stephanie Lynn Chasar

Stephanie Lynn Chasar, 53 of Chandler, AZ passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 in an auto accident north of Tucumcari, NM. She was born September 24, 1968 in Akron, Ohio the daughter of Lauren Marie Erdman and Edward Sheldon Kappes. She grew up in Portage County, Ohio, attended school in Rootstown and graduated in 1987 from Rootstown High School. Stephanie married Steven Chasar on November 26, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They made their home in Chandler, AZ in 2014. Stephanie worked in Arizona as a Real Estate Agent and Property Management with Watermark Arizona Properties and a Property Manager with Oasis Community Management. She was active in her community a member of The Grove Church in Chandler, women's bible study group, Arizona Realtor's Association Group. She enjoyed woodworking, gardening, and most recently training her fur babies, Easton and Moose. Stephanie is preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Ralph Erdman, paternal grandparents, Sheldon and Grace Kappes, and a favorite aunt and uncle Fran and Ron Van Hoose. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend she will be missed by her family. Survivors include her husband Steven Chasar of Chandler, AZ, two sons McKenna Alboreo of Chandler, AZ, Zac Alboreo of Delaware, her father Edward Kappes and wife Pat of Ravenna, Ohio, mother Lauren Searl and husband Steve of Peninsula, OH, two sisters Carrie Soto and husband Edgar of Laveen, AZ, Kimberly Peters and husband Mark of Ravenna, OH, step daughter Amanda McGaughey and husband Scott of Sacramento, CA, step son Brock Chasar of Tempe, AZ, two niece Aubrie Vasquez and husband Adrian of Phoenix, AZ and Emily Peters of Ravenna, OH, two special cousins Celena and Danielle, a very special aunt and uncle she adored Dave and Vicki Perolis. A family viewing was held Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the Chavez Funeral Home in Fort Sumner. Cremation will follow. A memorial service will be held in Chandler, AZ at a later date.
