Vera M Sena

Vera M. Sena, 70 of Clovis, NM passed away Thursday, March 25, 2022 at Plains Regional Medical Center following an illness. She was born August 17, 1951 in Chandler, Oklahoma to the home of Lorenzo and Donna (Muniz) Pacheco. She was raised in Liberal, KS and graduated from Liberal High School in 1969. Vera Married Larry Sena on August 31, 1968 in Liberal, KS. Vera and Larry made Clovis their home. Vera owned and operated Toyland Daycare for 30 years from 1987 to 2017. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis. Vera enjoyed playing BINGO, singing and dancing. She sang for family weddings and at talent shows and especially loved the time spent with her family. Vera is preceded in death by her parents, Lorenzo and Donna Pacheco, her in-laws Pete and Felisa Sena, a sister-in-law Linda Pacheco and brother-in-law Ruben Martinez. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by her husband of 53 years Larry Sena of Clovis, two sons Anthony (Lisa) Sena of Santa Rosa, Jeff (Cindy) Sena of Clovis, five grandchildren Natalie Sena of Las Cruces, Nackole Sena of Las Cruces, Alex Sena of Texas, Cameron Sena of Kentucky, and Isaiah Ulibarri of Clovis, one great-granddaughter Amara Sena Moncayo of Las Cruces. Also surviving are her siblings, three sisters Mary (Carlos) Sanchez of Albuquerque, Frances Martinez of Kansas, Rosie Avila of Clovis, three brothers Leroy (Kathy) Pacheco of Corona, NM, George (Rhonda) Pacheco of Oklahoma, and Charlie (Patricia) Montano of Colorado along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation hours will be held from 1pm to 6pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Chavez Funeral Home in Fort Sumner, NM. A rosary will be recited at 5:00 pm, Wednesday, March 30, 2022 from the Chavez Funeral Home Chapel. A second rosary will be recited at 10:00 am Thursday, March 31, 2022 followed by the funeral Mass at 10:30 am officiated by Father Eli Valadez at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 108 Davis Street, Clovis, NM. Interment will follow at San Isidro Cemetery in Borica, NM. Pallbearers will be Anthony Sena, Bobby Sena, Isaiah Ulibarri, Andy Sena, Jason Avila, and Lawrence Avila.
