Teodora Gerhardt

Maria Teodora Gerhardt, age 71, passed away July 12, 2004 at her residence following an illness. Teodora was born November 9, 1932 in Borica, NM to the home of Jose and Cleotilde Sena Gutierrez. She was reared and attended schools in Borica. Teodora married Enrique Gerhardt on January 2, 1947. She is preceded in death by her parents and a son Joseph Gerhardt. Survivors include her husband Enrique (Henry) Gerhardt of the family home in Puerto De Luna, her children, Elizabeth Gerhardt of Cinicinati, Ohio, Nancy Gerhardt of Santa Rosa, Peggy Gerhardt of Oxford, Ohio, Alice Martinez and husband Johnny of Santa Rosa, Evelyn Rivera and husband Gabriel of Santa Rosa, Joseph Gerhardt and Marcy Sisneros of Puerto De Luna, Frank Gerhardt and wife Anna of Puerto De Luna and Angie Apodaca and husband Lawrence also of Puerto De Luna. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, her sisters Bennie Muniz of Taos, Carolina Lucero of Albuquerque and her brother Felipe Gutierrez of Amarillo, TX along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends. Rosary services will be recited on Tuesday evening, July 13, at 7:00 from St. Rose of Lima Church in Santa Rosa. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning July 14, at 10:00 also from St. Rose Church with Father Nick Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at San Isidro Cemetery in Borica. Serving as Pallbearers will be Johnny Martinez, Robert Zamora, Sean Wooten, Gabriel Rivera, Lawrence Apodaca and Benjamin Gerhardt. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be all her grandchildren.
